Guys... I didn’t believe this could work when I bought this book about a year ago. It sat on my shelf for months before I read it. I have lupus, raynauds and Sjögrens. Every single day I threw up, took three hour naps bc I couldn’t keep my eyes open, I got migraines, I was covered in hives, I was violently ill if I was out in the sun, my fingertips tingled and my nails were always blue, my hair was thinning. I finally started following this books advice loosely. I drank the huge smoothie, a gallon of water, and cut out red meat entirely and way back on dairy, chicken and processed foods. Within DAYS, my hives went away. Within DAYS, I wasn’t napping, my skin cleared up, my fingertips stopped tingling. That was about eight months ago and even following her program pretty loosely, I am COMPLETELY SYMPTOMLESS. No lupus symptoms. Not kidding guys. I go to the beach in a bathing suit (with sunscreen of course but still something I never thought I would do again, goodbye long sleeves!), there are no aches and pains. The smoothies are EASY, guys. I dump a whole bag of spinach in a blender, throw in flax and whatever fruit I have and it’s done. I now engage in cardio every day, a year ago there is no way with the pleurisy in my chest I would even have walked briskly.I’m not paid to write this. I have no dog in this fight, I don’t know the author. I’m writing this because I tell everyone I meet with autoimmune disease to JUST TRY IT.This book changed my life. I’m fact, writing this review is making me choke up thinking about how different my life is now. Please just give it a try. A really good try. You will feel better in a matter of days.Dr. Goldner, I am so grateful for you. I used to think I probably wouldn’t live to be very old because I was just so sick ALL the time. I was on steroids basically permanently. Haven’t been on a steroid ONCE since I started this program and don’t plan on ever taking a steroid again. I will drink smoothies every day for the rest of my life.My husband is a physician and rolled his eyes when I started this program. He is definitely a believer now! Sometimes, I slip up and go a little crazy with bad food or maybe go a couple days without my smoothie or enough water and I can feel my symptoms trying to re-emerge. I make a smoothie and I swear to god, it stops it in its tracks. This is real, it works, it will change your life. I wish I could take out a billboard to get the word out.... THIS WORKS.
